We welcome young learners into our fulltime kindergarten programs starting from 18 months up to 6 years old.

Các lớp học tại VMK được giảng dạy bằng tiếng Quan Thoại và tiếng Anh. Nửa ngày học sẽ được giảng dạy bởi giáo viên bản ngữ tiếng Anh, nửa ngày còn lại sẽ được giảng dạy bởi giáo viên bản ngữ tiếng Quan Thoại.

Mỗi lớp sẽ được giảng dạy bởi ba giáo viên bản ngữ: một giáo viên giảng dạy tiếng Quan Thoại, một giáo viên giảng dạy tiếng Anh và một giáo viên giảng dạy tiếng Việt.

Chúng tôi chào đón học sinh với mọi quốc tịch và trình độ tiếng Anh, tiếng Quan Thoại khác nhau.

Toilet training is not a requirement for the Two Year Olds - Toddler Classroom. However, it is required for the 3 and above year-olds students. (Childcare centers have strict licensing standards for changing and disposing of soiled diapers, and our students above 3 years-old are not equipped for diaper changing.)

All children come into our program with different strengths and areas of growth. Our teachers are skilled at getting to know each child and determining where their learning edge is. For children who hardly speak Chinese, they may find more challenge in the Chinese class or using Chinese in social interactions with their peers. All children, regardless of their language background, have opportunities to grow and develop in our preschool bilingual program.

Mixed age classrooms are an important component of our preschool program. The older students help the younger students acclimate to the classroom, and, in the Chinese classroom, serve as language role models. The older students benefit from this relationship by developing leadership skills, confidence, and maturity.
